Default What's your current pull list?

Like it says at the top: what's your current pull list? Also, what is your criteria for cancelling a title from your list? Do you trade wait for certain titles?

My pull list is listed in my sig. I just pull the X-Men books. In addition to those books I generally pick up the Marvel crossover events that play a role in the wider universe (things like Empyre and King In Black) in trade (if they're decent enough stories).

I buy DC stuff in trade these days, only when a story gets a lot of positive buzz. Same with indies.

How do YOU go about all of this?

Only a handful of titles, and a few more that I trade wait on.

    Department of Truth
    Seven Secrets
    Last God
    Norse Mythology
    Black Hammer and offshoots
    Dune House Atreides
    Batman Black and White
    Superman Red and Blue
    Usagi Yojimbo

not on pull lists, but I also support/follow/buy regularly a lot of small press titles that Diamond doesn't carry, and either buy via crowdfunding platforms (kickstarter, indigogo etc.) or buy direct from creators (usually at cons, but the last year that has not been possible).

    trade wait on...
    Something is Killing The Children
    Once and Future
    Lazarus
    Black Magick
    Ascender
    anything Brubaker

anything Marvel related I am interested in I read via Unlimited.

I also have access to Hoopla via my local library, so I follow some books there too including some DC and indy books. If I discover something I really like, I will pick up the trades for it to keep in my library and follow as trades when new material comes out. I use Hoopla as a discovery tool to try things I might not want to plunk down the cash for first, but support the things I discover that I like

If I am interested in a new series (other than Marvel) I will pick up the first issue or first couple of issues to see if I like it, and decide if I want to read as it comes out or read in larger chunks. If I don't like it, I drop it, if I do it either stays or became a trade wait.

I don't drop much, most stuff comes to an end since I don't buy many never-ending story corporate comics. Most stuff ends or gets cancelled-for example I was getting the Hill House stuff, the Sandman Universe, Gideon Falls, and Mark Russell's Red Sonja-pretty much all of which ended or got cancelled which shrunk my pull list, but that was good as there were some new books coming that I wanted to follow. If there is a major change in direction or creative teams on a book I am getting and I no longer enjoy reading it, I will drop it, but I try to give my lcs as much advance notice as possible so they can adjust their orders if they need to, particularly on books that they wouldn't normally order on the shelves.

My current pull list is . . . limited.
    DC:
    * Stargirl Spring Break Special (one-shot)
    * Batman and Scooby-Doo Mysteries (twelve issue print series)

    Dark Horse Comics:
    * Young Hellboy: The Hidden Land (four issue series)
    * The House of Lost Horizons: A Sarah Jewell Mystery (five issue series)

At present, there isn't anything I'm planning to trade-wait.
As for cancelling a title from my pull list, it just depends if I feel it's going to be worth other issues or not, though I may try to finish a story arc first just in case.
