Is it me, or is this entire series a revamp of Atomic Knight from DC?

I've seen speculation that Johns may be reusing concepts or stories he had pegged for that DC label of his that never really got off the ground.

It was probably an Atomic Knight book for the Killing Zone imprint. Johns apparently has entire notebooks filled with unused characters and ideas (including an entire run of Iron Man). He probably only realized until recently that creating new IP would be more profitable for him instead of just being a DC scriptmonkey. Originally Posted by The Cool Thatguy
