DC: it depends. DC has mashed up its history so many times, there's no way to tell.
Prior to 1955, it was Superman.
Between 1955-1986, I haven't read enough Silver Age to say for sure.
Between 1987 and Nu52, it was maybe The New Gods (Byrne wrote some stuff about Mr. Miracle tooling around in the Old West).
Since then? Not a clue.
ETA: if you consider The Lords Of Order alien, it maybe Nabu The Wise.
For DC, probablyHunters/Gatherers from the PAD Aquaman who hunted the dinosaurs to extinction.
Didn't aliens grant caveman Vandal Savage his immortality and vastly enhanced intelligence? I forget which aliens they would be, though.
The first aliens to canonically visit earth in the DC Universe might have been the White Martians who were responsible for depriving the human race of the super powers they initially had
It seems to me there used to be lots and lots of stories about aliens coming to Earth in the far distant past and many stories that said the gods were actually aliens. But I guess all that isn't considered continuity.
What about the Guardians of the Universe and the Manhunters. They would have been active millions of years ago. Even if Earth was just a mudball with water creatures in its ocean, wouldn't some alien from Sector 2814 have stopped in to check on the place just in case the universal evil was up to no good there?
