From what we know, right now Thanos agenda only have one objective, killing thane, and he probably want to have a word with the ebony maw.

If he's choosing to work with Namor then he perhaps is putthing his Thane search on hold. Though given that Hickman wrote all the Thane stuff it'll probably all tie together.

Heck, Thane probably will end up being the Great Destroyer somehow. Or some alternate reality version of him.

Well he had to put the thane thing on hold because the universe is dying. Can't kill thane if an incursion end 616 universe.

I suppose it depends on how important it is to Thanos to personally do the job (and for him it may be VERY important). The 616 ending should in theory take care of Thane too.
