Technically there's Hawkgirl and Hawkwoman (although most defer to Hawkgirl).

I didn't even realize it was a hawk mask with the way it's structured.

Good points.
I was pretty excited coming into this thread and seeing what I thought was Shayera.
Now, not so much.

I don't put this against the writer, but I think it's the best DC can do right now. But like I said, if it ever turns into a romance, I won't be disappointed, but I won't be as happy if it it's already an established character like Shayera.

Shayera is now that person who says, "Don't fight-- There's more than enough of me to go around!"

I'm sure Thorne will handle the character well, no matter who it is, romance or not.

Yea, I'm more than sure he'll handle her just fine.

I like the look of this, it’s very interesting to see things go south and somehow it’s related to green lantern energy. Also interesting to see the other lantern corps as well.

Just so you understand my frustration - GL writers have been screwing this up a LOT as of late, which leads to things like, say, multiple GL sectors intersecting the Milky Way, or writers trying to have GL's from Rann, or saying things like "Oa, the center of the galaxy"... y'know, stuff like that.

in my other life, one of, i'm a science fiction writer. like, the non-super-hero kind. i'll surely make mistakes but not of they kind you're worried about. i'm just cautioning everyone to actually READ the book and not just skim. Comics are words AND pictures for a reason.

i'm not guaranteeing you'll LIKE what we do (if i could, I'd be a lot richer than I am which is, of course, not at all rich) but, I promise you, the sci-fi bits don't leak.

I'm kind of getting vibes from the post-Johns era where there's this big galactic shakeup that's making people question their faith in the Corps. and their place in the universe.

So John is Corps. Leader again? Does that make him like the Corps. General while the Guardians are like the executive body or something?

"Sinestro's Crew" - So is that the actual Sinestro Corps. (led by Soranik) or whatever Sinestro has left that was willing to follow him? I think Soranik would probably be more willing to pay ball with the United Planets, assuming she's not still inexplicably raging against the GL's.

Did Atrocitus send these Reds to parlay or are they there of their own accord.

"Thanagarians." Does that include Carter and Shayera? Or Kendra? Not that she's biologically Thanagarian, but she's basically related. What about Isamot Kol?

Gotta admit, hard for me to take Teen Lantern seriously there. Especially that they're calling her Teen Lantern .
