The MTV movie awards have been entertaining. At least in the past. the Jack Black on a Roman war-chariot isn't all that far from what we really have seen before.
Every day is a gift, not a given right.

Some are entertaining. I like the video game awards because of the soundtrack performances and video game trailers, I don't really care about the wins though.

What about the comic book awards? I hear they are far less prestigious than the manga awards.

Exactly this! Winning? Bah! My price to watch is being thoroughly entertained.

I want to watch because I don't want to miss some brilliantly, stupid human Tim & Eric trick that will others will try to out-do on the next award show. I want to see them hand over control to a nihilistic Eric Andre & cause an international incident.

Meh. They'll never allow those freakishly bizarros within smelling distance of the Oscars.

Less than ten million people watched the Oscars. How is that for ratings?
I'm glad to hear it. I'm currently wondering why the Academy Awards havent been taken out behind the shed yet, especially after it became public knowledge that the Academy panel barely watches most of the films that they give their votes to.

Even before the obsession with being “on the right side of history" took hold, they were voting in movies they didn't watch. Mainly, it was and probably still is 70-90 percent based on industry connections.
