Rucka's AoS run was great, imho. Definitely much better than what Azzarello and Austen were doing in Superman and Action, respectively, at the time. Of course it got truncated by "One Year Later", like so many other titles, and the ending kinda fell flat.

    Yep.
Speaking of "One Year Later" did the Candor storyline happen before or after Supergirl got sent to the future and starred in Legion of Superheroes?

Are the Chris and Thara pairing universally reviled?

It was after One year later. Remember, the history of Kandor was with The Legion than meet SUperman, mwanwhile, the Legion than Supergirl meet was threeboot.

It have certain unconfortables undertones, if you consider than Chris strictly was a Child who surprisly grow fast.

    Yep.
Rucka only started to frustrate me Post-52. His DC work is a mixed bag. There's some stuff I adore, others not so much, but of late he's been more miss than hit and turning Lois Lane's book into a signal boost for Montoya still stings.

Yeah, gotta agree with that. We need a real Lois book now.

I'm re reading Gates run on Supergirl and I'm reminded that the Supergirl tv show was heavily inspired by this era of Supergirl comics.
