    With that bit done:

Episode titles for 15 through to the finale are out:

    15 - Armed Suspect
    16 - Rebirth
    17 - Kane, Kate
    18 - Power (season finale)

And Wallis Day has finally been spotted on set. Apparently she stands in the middle of the road, blocking the Batmobile. Also Kate is blonde now.

Sigh, this just feels like a 'Robin gone bad' storyline. No doubt she'll be Ryan's nemesis for a while, and then Ryan will have to teach her how to be good again, or something alone those lines.
I haven't been watching at all. But I have to say; what the freakin' hell!? This is about the most cliche thing from poorly written fanfictions, where an OC (often a self-insert, but not always) has to "save the hero because reasons".

Apparently the Batsuit literally fell out of the sky and landed in front of Ryan. And Kate as Batwoman once saved Ryan from thugs in an alley, but Ryan picked-up a batarang and fended off one of the attackers - this was their first encounter. Almost exactly how Kate first encountered Batman in the comics.

The standard of writing amazes me!

Should have just gone with Cassandra Cain or Tiffany Fox, if Kate absolutely had to be replaced.

And they are still, most likely, never going to explain what happened to Batman, Robin, Alfred, and Oracle - all confirmed to exist in the Arrowverse (with Robin and Alfred getting mentioned back in S1). No mentioned of James Gordon, but Lucius Fox was confirmed dead by his son Luke, and Julia Pennyworth basically confirmed her father to be alive and well (judging by her demeaner when she mentioned him in S1).

Oh well, it's entertaining at least, to hear about what strange decisions the writer's make next.

Actors playing around, having fun, but it provides a decent look at New-Kate:

More evidence that the CW just makes-up crap as they go along, lol:

Yeah, so I actually went out for it last year, when they announced the departure of Ruby. But a few weeks into the process, they said that they were heading in a different direction.
Day added that showrunner Caroline [Dries] wrote her an email about the change, but told her they would give her a call should they decide on bringing Kate Kane back. Day continued, "I was just like, [sighs] 'Yeah, right, everyone always says this to the actors!' But to be honest, I was really upset about it, because it just felt like such a right move. You never really get excited, because you kind of get used to rejection as an actor, but it just gnawed at me."
However, Day finally got a call in January, recalling, "Caroline called, and I was like, 'Yes, I do still want to play Kate! Let's do it!' And here we are."

So in other words they were going to delete Kate entirely, and then chickened-out and kept her as an option, and then decided to bring her back anyway after telling the audience (and potential Kate actor it seems) that they wouldn't recast the character.

Oh, and here's another interview: https://www.cbr.com/batwoman-wallis-...rview-preview/

Honestly, everything I've been hearing about Kate's return - it just kinda sounds like torture-porn to me, which I'm not into.

That sounds more like standard spoiler-avoidance to me. Especially when Dries said as recently as a January interview that she wasn't opposed to recasting:

Wallis had likely already been hired at that point, and the episode with Kate in the sewer had been written and starting prep work since the previous November:

They've intended on this direction for a good long while.

'Batwoman Showrunner explains why they didn't recast Ruby Rose'
I can tell you why they didn't recast Ruby Rose! - because Ruby Rose is an actual person, not a fictional comic-book character! Lol.

    You can't recast a real-life-person!
You can make movies/plays/TV shows about them and cast someone else to play them, but don't try to recast the real thing, lol.

I'm sorry Caivu, but I can't take the article seriously with a stupid headline like that, I'm not going to read it. I've seen way too many articles mistake Ruby Rose and Kate Kane for which one is the comic-book character and which is the actor, and too many of them seem to believe Ruby Rose is the role being recast. Guess a lot of people out there think there's some actress called Kate Kane who got to play the first live-action Batwoman, and Ruby Rose is Bruce Wayne's cousin.

Oh, gimme a break. I don't believe for a second that you genuinely have a problem with that headline. The phrasing "recast [x]", where x is an actor, is pretty common; just Googling right now, I've found it used in multiple instances each referring to Kevin Spacey, Amber Heard, and Richard Harris (the top three that immediately came to mind). If you can "cast [x]," then you can "recast [x]."

Even if you did have a point with that, that's not a legitimate excuse to ignore what that article says.

Oh yeah, totally, making-up a stupid and badly done story to explain a recast works better than just, you know, recasting:

"It didn't feel like the right move for me because honestly, it just felt weird and awkward, and unearned. I'm not opposed to recasting the character of Kate Kane at all. But doing a swap out without any story motivation behind it felt really weird to me. To me, it was asking too much of the audience,”
    https://www.syfy.com/syfywire/batwom...cast-ruby-rose

Recasting Kate was too much for the audience to handle! Not without a story about the character literally losing her face! There, you can be all happy happy now.

I tend to move on, especially when my heart is broken. I haven't had the feeling to watch more than 2 episodes; I don't even remember when that was; weeks.

I may change my mind but I'm not feeling it.

Same here, I've never been one to "hate watch" anything. I see no reason to be miserable life is too short. Batwoman has not burnt they nuked (the final straw for me giving them another chance was once I heard about Kate's ludicrous soap opera-type return, something they swore would never happen) the bridge with me it's over.

Correct. They should have just recast Kate/Batwoman and try to stay away from the soap opera explanations.

Just had a really good laugh!
If the rumors I'm hearing about Kate's return in the ep just aired are true, this is hilarious IMO. I'll wait for a clip upload to watch, and post it.

Oh, there is one already up:

I'll find a better quality one later, the very start of the scene seems to be missing, anyway - funny!

First Evil Kate fight scene, low quality, but watchable (skip to 1:12):

It is indeed unwatchable but not for video quality reasons. That was painful.

    I found it funny.

Black Mask's big evil plan was to...turn Kate Kane into his dead daughter. What, he just wants to be a daddy again? I can think of other ways to do that that are less convoluted than abducting vigilantes, but anyway.

Here is another interview with the actress for anyone interested: https://tvline.com/2021/05/02/batwom...day-kate-kane/
