Watched 1/3 of the series, and then skimmed/fast forwarded through the rest.

It felt.... aggressively bland. Some parts were okay, and a little of it was terrible, but the main thing was how perfunctory everything seemed.

It didn't have that 'Star Wars' feel. The Mandalorian show felt like Star Wars. The Jedi Fallen Order video game felt like Star Wars as well. How does a show with Obi Wan and Darth Vader not feel like Star Wars?

This show felt like it was a story about small time gangsters in middle america, with obi-wan as someone getting embroiled in that conflict. Tatooine felt like it was set on the American Western Frontier, and the Planet Daiyu just felt like a detour to New York City. It definitely didn't feel like a story from a long time ago, in a galaxy far far away.

Fallen Order and Mandalorian do sort of have that whole gang of mismatched group of heroes thing that the OT did so well, the ST sort of tried to duplicate, got some in Solo Rogue One did well with and that we did sort of get in TPM but didn't really get in the prequel sequels as Jar-Jar was mostly written out and Anakin was a Jedi by then....and of course Obi-Wan is a follow-up to those two films in quite a few ways. The closest thing we got was some of the banter with Leia and Haja.
