    Default First Ever Team-Up!

Propose a team-up of characters you don't think have ever teamed up before. Just so this thread doesn't become a list of names, give at least one reason you want to see these characters team up or why this pairing would be interesting. And if someone proposes a team-up that has actually happened, please let us know! (and I don't mean "they fought next to each other in some crossover event", I mean a proper team-up or at least a meaningful interaction)

    I'll start:
Sandman (Dodds) and The Question (Sage): these are two investigators who think outside the box and do more than beat up criminals. They have some understanding of the metaphysical and it would be interesting to see their points of view while investigating a difficult crime.

I kind of want Alan Scott to meet John Constantine. Alan is this honorable hero, one of the first in dc’s timeline of the golden age, who is connected to a very powerful magic whereas Constantine is pretty much the exact opposing opposite of Alan. Basically I think the most honorable man should meet the worst person and deal with a serious magic issue.

While I'm not sure if they've ever had a one-on-one team-up, I believe they have "worked" together in the past when Alan was going by "Sentinel" and worked with more of the mystical characters.

Catwoman and G'Nort, in a reluctant heist plot to steal a space gem that the Phanty-Cats have used to imprison the inhabitants of G'Newt.

J'Onn J'Onnz is a multi-decade serialized story, teaming up with Captain Comet (50's), Brother Power (60's) and the Freedom Fighters (70's) against a mysterious cabal of immortals intent on stifling a new age of heroes.

    Manhunter and Codename: Assassin
Batman and the Outsiders (the original group)
    Black Canary and Lady Cop
The Question, the Creeper, and the Odd Man investigate the death of Mr. Alpha, an obscure objectivist vigilante.

Mxyzptlk, Bat-Mite, & Wonder Tot - call it "Kingdom Dumb" or something.

Aquaman and Black Adam: I think Black Adam referenced him before in one of his miniseries and they’re on the same team with each other right now but I don’t think they ever had a team up where it was just them. I think it could be cool both being royalty. One looks like Namor while the other shares a similar background. Be a Pikachu/Psyduck type of team up lol.

I’d like to see Superman team up with various other Supermen of the multiverse not like Legacy but like individual team ups with different Supermen like Val or Calvin.

Really? I figured that Constantine was new to the dc universe because of vertigo....then again I never really understood how characters like Swamp Thing and Constantine worked prior to new 52 bringing them in so what do I know.

    The Crimson Avenger and Superman.

It was being shown a vision of Supes that inspired Lee Travis to become one of, if not the, first costumed mystery man in DC history. It was these same mystery men who in turn inspired Clark Kent when deciding how best to use his powers.
    I think it’d be fun.

Alright what about Mister Terrific and Cyborg? I know that Victor’s dad was in the Terrifics for a little while before it ended but I do not believe that these two have ever just teamed up on their own.

Personally I think that one of dc’s smartest characters who works with aliens, alternate dimensions, and weirds forces team up with the Titans & Justice League’s robotic super hero with access to motherbox technology who is always changing and adapting. Would be a fun duo to see I think.

Ryan Kendall - I always thought he was criminally underused.

That image is awesome! There was the Trenchcoat Brigade, it’s time for the Fedora Force! Add The Crimson Avenger and Midnight. Was there ever a female hero who wore a fedora?
