Haven't read the issue yet but as a Synch fan I think I'm going to love it. I hope he is involved more with Hickman's run.

Well if they don't Darwin body and he didn't died on the vault...

He died. In the data page Glio mentioned, it says the Vault Machine thing atomized him which is what Synch and Laura see before the data page itself.

The first thing I thought about was Old Woman Laura! God I miss having her in the spotlight (hope that changes after this issue).

It literally says "Subject Darwin final atomization and biomass seeding complete".

They separated it down to the last atom to obtain biomass. It's hard to be more dead than that.

So... didn't this venture just make the whole situation worse? According to the data pages, if no one came into the Vault, the CoV would have been working on Pre-Krakoa info and would have gotten squashed.

Great issue. 10/10.

There's a lot to unpack here, but I'd like to point out two:
- We're not sure if teh Darwin that was left behind is dead or not.
- The second generation of the Children were captured by Orchis. We don't know what they've learned with them yet, so there's a cliffhanger here.

I think Vault Darwin is dead (as far as we know) and they just brought back a new one.

Darwin was confirmed dead, he was harvested to the last atom by the Vault.

Laura died still inside The Vault when confronting several Children without powers (Technically we did not see her die but without a healing factor it is difficult to believe that she survived, especially since we see that with Synch they shot to kill), so she has no memories.

It ain’t the worst idea. I think Laura and Darwin would be at least a bit curious to see what went on in there.

Technically if they sent anyone else instead of Darwin, it might not have gone sour. :P
