You say that like it's a bad thing. Imagine if they weren't? Batman sales account for a vast majority of DC comic sales. DC afterall is a business that needs to turn a decent profit to keep going. Comics are a niche market as it is. Last issue of batman was over 200k. Thank Goodness for the greed of bat fans.

Enjoying or liking a particular character isn't bad. Wanting more of what one enjoys or finds entertaining is normal. Don't get why the need to drag the fans for doing what is expected and normal.

Just name the "DC" stand as Detective Comics and maybe sell the JSA or other dc heroes IP to other industry. They will love to use them.
