I'm lowkey annoyed by this that vote had so many good comics but Robin was destined to win from jump what was even the point.
The movie
Not exactly. This is the one time I agree with placing the vote on DCU.
Limiting it to American fans who are already willing to subscribe ensures that these are the kind of people that will buy their book when it comes out, since they're also judging the sales first and foremost by the North American floppies hard copy sales. Worldwide opinion on social media is unreliable since they don't know if people are actually gonna buy it or just vote for voting sake.
DC: Dick Grayson, Wally West, Donna Troy, Yara Flor, Titans
Some of my favorite Mangas: One Piece, Slam Dunk, Fullmetal Alchemist, HunterXHunter, Vinland Saga, Monster, Berserk, Vagabond.
Current reading: Jujutsu Kaisen, Chainsaw Man, Spy X Family, Kaiju Nº8, Blue Lock, Dandadan.
Based on the preview pages, doesn't seem she is related to Batman
Her narration, that sounds like she was saved by Robin Dick as a child, then somewhere along the way, she turned evil, or rather, she's mentally unbalanced and interpret Robin giving sickly her food and drink and everything he can do for help including him as well.
"Robin, kindly, you shall be mine"
Maybe she fell in love when he saved her. Obsessive love, but of course, it's not reciprocated, since it's just another day of being Robin the superhero
Then when she got better, and she hate Robin for never becoming hers
"That's what we do to the boys who kick us outta the nest"
Maybe she tried to be Robin, to attract his attention, and definitely rejected, and now she hates Robin. All of them.
Wait.
Who's that Silver Age girl who became Robin because she fell in love with Dick and gets her identity exposed and forced to quit? The forgotten First Female Robin
Roberta The Girl Wonder aka Mary Wills. You might be on to something, Restingvoice. Seeley likes his deep dives after all.
Hmm...no matter how happy I am to see Seeley writing Dick again and think that his voice will be good for Steph, I'm probably waiting for the trade. If they can't make DC Universe international, I have no desire to pay for Single Issues. I buy digital anyway.
