Long ago, Mad Max director George Miller nearly directed a JL film before it all fell apart. Just going off this, would you have been interested in seeing this version of JL come to fruition?

"I love mankind...it's people I can't stand!!"
- Charles Schultz.
From everything I read about it and saw, yes, absolutely.
Definitely I recently saw Witches of Eastwick and I was amazed what he could do with visual effects even back then.
Not with Armie Hammer!
"My name is Wally West. I'm the fastest man alive!"
I'll try being nicer if you try being smarter.
given the current state of the DCEU, yes

As an Aussie, I'm allowed to call my politicians dicks! They cost me what COULD have been a great movie (and Megan Gale as Wonder Woman dammit!)
And really, they finance a shitload of Hollywood movies. Thor, Star Wars, Pirates, War flicks - you name it.
Why they had an issue with this I don't know.

DC could still animate it
Yes, definitively. This would have been awsome (storywise. I'm not too sure of the esthetics choices. Tall boots Batman? Nah!). Proves once again that the biggest threat in a cinematic DCU is Warnerr Bros executives.
