So, I've just seen some clips of this Omni Man guy from the new Invincible animation. Dude is preeeeeeeeeettty beast.
How does he do against the man of steel?

Current Superman? I think Kal beats him. The power curve is just higher in DC right now. Kal is breaking planets with footfalls as crazy as that is.

I don't know if the animated series beefs him up compared to the comics, I've not started watching it yet, but in the comics Nolan, and the Viltrumites in general, don't play in the full kryptonian end of pool.
And Superman is perhaps more powerful now than he's ever been since the Silver Age. Nolan could make a go at it but he's too slow and too weak to really have a chance.
