    They’re recruiting characters owned by WB so of course they aren’t name dropping Marvel characters. Still warms my heart that Supes got priority over bats.

    Iron Giant on defense, Clark takes center and Kong dominates the offense. I still don't see a need for Gandalf.

    C’mon, man, his signature line is “you shall not pass”...

    Oh, wait, that’s already been covered. Carry on.

    You need to fill out the team, and you can never have too much of a great defense.

    I'm American so you'll need to break that down for me.

    I'm American too - I've seen Super Bowls won on defense.

    Gandalf may look old, but here's what he looks like under those robes;

    Well, there's that adage in sports, "Defense wins championships." I find that statement to be partially true, like if you don't play any sort of defense then you're gonna lose. But it's particularly true in the NFL, where there's some small trend of great defenses doing better than great offenses in the Super Bowl.

    Anyhoo, not necessarily looking forward to seeing Superman playing second fiddle to LeBron. I just find the premise of the movie to be kind of funny, because the real LeBron would've taken his talents to Moron Mountain if he were in the first movie...

    EDIT: though the scene in the trailer where LeBron was trying to stack his team as much as humanly (and cartoonably) possible is true to life, hehe. And isn't "You shall not pass" not the words you want to hear on the basketball court? I mean, that sounds great on defense, but on offense?

    I'm picturing Galdalf juggling a palantir set to the Harlem Globetrotters theme song...

    Gandalf would be the worst teammate. Make you walk to every away game then show up himself on some giant f'n eagle.
