I use "You're gonna need a bigger boat" whenever a problem turns out to be bigger than someone originally thought.
Watching television is not an activity.
I find myself quoting Rick & Morty lately. "Wubba, Lubba, Dub Dub." "You gotta get schwifty!"
There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!
Probably misquoted, but Andy to Anne from Parks & Rec, "Oh hey, while you're up can you make me pancakes real quick?"
Also from Parks & Rec, after I kiss my wife I might say "And now we both have herpes." (Mark to Anne)
When it comes to movies or tv quotes, first thing that comes through your head is to think of many different tv series or movies, however one movie series makes it so easy to pin point because it always had awesome life quotes 24/7 and that is the Harry Potter movies, this is the easiest series to think about for constant great quotes of life lessons. Just a few from the 8 movies.
I am not going home...not really.
It is not our ability that shows who we really are, it is our choices.
Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, when one only remembers to turn on the light.'
the ones that love us never really leave us and we can always find them...point to your heart
'Dark and difficult times lie ahead. Soon we must all face the choice between what is right and what is easy
'Fear makes people do terrible things
It is impossible to manufacture or imitate love”.
You have the emotional range of a tea spoon
Books, cleverness but there are more important things like friendship and bravery.
Five against One, very brave. (this was Harry been sarcastic at Dudley for letting 5 teenagers beat up a 10 year old)

Remind me again just how awesome the harry potter franchise was? because it was, especially for a supposedly children's series.

I'll be back
Speaking of James Cameron, almost any time my wife or I use the word "mostly" in a sentence, one of us will tack on at the end our impression of Cartman doing an impression of Newt from "Aliens," ... "mostly" y'know, for emphasis.
I'm still amazed at the number of times I'm able to respond
"I'd advise youse to keep dialin', Oxmix"
"Ive seen enough to know ive seen too much" From a league of their own.
Love that line and say it when something slightly crazy happens.

It helps when I'm in a depressive spiral. It's a mantra I use when I'm at a low point.
Speaking of Doctor Who. I have used this more than once.
"People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to affect, but actually, from a non-linier, non subjective point of view it is more like a big ball of wibbily wobbly timey wimey...stuff :"
There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!
From "American Dad" -- shouting "Oprah!" whenever popping a bottle of fizz.
From "Arrested Development" -- Tobias' "How *are* you?"
I also use the often misquoted line from Goodfellas
"Compliments of Mr Tony." Whenever I hand my dad a drink.
