The cloud at the time affected the entire line. The terrigen was running through every book and inhumans were guesting left and right in the main line books. I read Inhumans and UNcanny Inhumans and saw the casino that was being ran and them living it up while on the flip side i sat through extraodinary xmen and the other books where the ramifications were actually being dealt with which were the main books so a cloud released in avengers we are dealing with in xmen. So again in a shared universe that's on them. The readers can come now and be all "but they cared" but i would say then they should have been asking where were the books showing their favorite heros responding to what was happening to mutants they same way they are now asking what are the mutants doing to humans. It's in a pocket, it's not affected Cap, thor, etc the same way the cloud wasn't but now that they seem on the up there seems to be a problem. Oh well.
