I voted for Cyborg, though I'm not totally sure if he qualifies, since it's, you know, it's just his body, rather than a full-on armor suit.

Steel came very close. He's extremely underrated, and his co-creators Jon Bogdanove and Louise Simonson are each one of the greatest Superman artists and writers ever, respectively.

All of which said, I don't know Hardware half as much as I would like to, and I like him half as much as he deserves. I understand that Hardware is really one of the unsung greats, and I keep meaning to get into him as a character.

I suppose the new Milestone world is as good a chance as I'm going to get! I better get reading!

Then after that, Shaquille O'Neal's Steel just for the cheese factor, because I find I'm not particular fond of any other characters or armored iterations of characters I can think of off the top of my head. For example, I like Wonder Woman, but I'm not particularly interested in her armor.
