As John Venus said, it got cancelled (along with The Trench). It's actually been somewhat big news. I know some restore the snyderverse fans celebrated the cancellation because it'd have contradicted Snyder's vision for Darkseid and other New Gods.

Always a cool character. That's what I love about DC, and endless supply of intriguing and interesting heroes.

I really hate the New 52 Orion redesign that DC is sadly still using. It's just a boring look. Black pants, red shirt.

He also looks pretty dumb riding his motorcycle handle bars around.



He's a comic book cosmic god! Embrace the crazy Kirby-ness of the character.

Give him back the Astro Harness!

Does anyone know Orion’s actual strength level? Always thought he was a cool solid character.

I think Orion's one of those ones whose strength/power levels vary wildly from appearance to appearance. Sometimes he's Superman level, sometimes he's tough and invulnerable, but not presented as near Superman levels. I think the fact a huge part of his character is that he's destined to kill Darkseid always means he has to be presented as pretty powerful. An in-universe explanation might be that it depends on how much of the Astro Force he's channeling at the time. He does seem to get stronger the more angry he gets, and he gets his "Darkseid face." But again, I don't know that it's been presented with much consistency.

But that's just my take on how I've seen him presented over the years.

Thanks. I always thought he was pretty tough. Maybe not Superman strength tough but tough enough to take him on and hold his own.
