I really hope she doesn't just cut her way out of it, and finds a different method that doesn't involve cutting up a poor snek.
My only criticism for this story so far is the lack of female characters. Siegfried, Thor, Odin, Doctor Psycho, Ratatosk, the serpent... all male characters so far. Hope we see more women soon.
I feel like she does have her powers but can't use them reliably until she remembers enough about herself. Unless, like, Asgard residence just have a higher base strength that's enough to crack a rock into a million pieces.
She didn't have a sword on her going in... so I guess it's going to be a "one-end-or-the-other" kind of situation....
Well the Valkyries are on their way right? She's going to their home after all.

Wow, it has been a very long time since WW faced the Valkyrie. I wonder if she will see Gundra/Gudra or other ones?

Like a Red Dragon, The Phoenix shall Soar in 2024!
I'm guessing there is a whole other world inside Nidhogg's stomach?
Now that it's been mentioned. The absence of female characters is very noticeable. Hopefully, the Valkyries get fleshed out and don't just appear for one Issue. I'm also joining the chant for Gundra.
That was my exact reaction, lol.
It was. I hope we get another cameo.
Guess we can cross Psycho off the list from that group shot from 770 cover. Let's hope the other villains (Cheetah, Circe, Giganta, Swan) are planned to appear later.
I'm in love with this creative team.

I really enjoyed this! The appearance of Doctor Psycho is a pleasant surprise and they found a surprisingly good way of differentiating him from Maxwell 'Will never be as interesting as his movie portrayal' Lord.
From the beginning in the golden age Psycho was established to have a connection to the Astral Plane. With the sphere of the gods even referenced when he was brought back by Perez for post crisis. And since Loeb had established traveling to the realms of the gods via astral projection was possible, it only makes sense that Psycho could add that to his bag of tricks.
Honestly leaves alot of curious possibility for all he could do with such a talent.
As for the story itself, im honestly really drawn in by both tales in this so far. Though I also want to say that the artwork REALLY has me drawn in.
