Yeah, I liked the Backdoor Pilot too, but as skilled as Khalil is, he is not superhumanly strong like Bucky.

Doesn't he have some kind of toxins and stuff like that? It says 'no guns', but I don't see his toxic darts and so forth being disallowed.
Or has he lost them in S4? I gave up at the end of S3, and S4 isn't on Netflix anyway.Why are we here?

Yes, he has a poisonous touch, which he can use to either incapacitate or kill. Don't think he'll be getting his hands on Bucky that easily though.
Also, this is the best fight scene of the episode that aired yesterday (not the best quality, camera is a bit zoomed, but it's ok)

From what I recall, the cybernetics integrated into Khalil's spine do give him some enhanced strength. Maybe not on Bucky's/Winter Soldier's level, but enough along with the poison touch to make him fairly competitive.
The spider is always on the hunt.
