Children of the Atom #2 Review/Spoilers. Yeah, i cried a little.

I don't usually do reviews but this issue was absolutely drawn stunningly and written even better. If Gabriel hasn't risen to be one of my favorite characters in a single issue i would be lying. The heart Vita puts into this issue is simply mind blowing.

Following the preview the issue starts with us finding out who Gabriel is, he is a math genius and just a really normal, good guy. His first words weren't "mom or dad" they were "i help." I thought that was powerful especially considering we find out later his dad was fight fighter who got sick and died. He is pretty much the point of view character.
From there to the opening night of the Dazzler concert where the gang meets up. We meet Gabriel's childhood friend Cole who also got sick and another touching story ensues where Dazzler is given the most beautiful tribute, literally being Cole's light when he was sick and making him feel there was something to look forward to. This story is followed by a data page poster of the dazzler concert flyer.

The kids get a message about the hell belle's and heads off to stop them, a fight ensues and the kids don't understand why the helle belle's would be doing what they are doing when they have amnesty on krakoa. They basically let them know they don't want to be on krakoa watching mutants live it up when they don't have their powers so they are going to save the rest of helle belle from prison and do their thing. The fight continues and Storm shows up, she is smart in that she brings Toad with her.

Storm let's them know she has come to "take you home sisters" The helle belles don't believe it asking where they were. Storm lets them know they don't force amnesty on any mutant and they never came to them for help. They still don't believe it and are like "so what we go through a gate and everything is forgotten? Storm tells them to ask "toad, or even magneto" and extends her hand and they take her hand. Toad plants a gate so they can get out and he escorts the hell belle to krakoa, all of them since the gate was created in the prison.

Storm tells the kids to come along as well they say the hell Belle's need her more she lets them know they are blocked from cerebro so she can't find them and she gives them one of her communicators from her infamous TAS costume which Cyclopslass holds to her chest. She then leaves.

The issue ends with the kids preparing to go though the gate again.

Masterful. Just Masterful, beautiful. This issue was all heart and action, and then some more heart and ended with even more. 10/10. This is all i want in a comic.

I included the pages of Gabriel because i feel everyone should know Gabriel's exist in real life. Thank you Vita.
I don't know this is probably more of a summary than a review, but if your not reading this book, i think your missing out.
