Congrats to MRP, that is a true classic. And no votes for my Golden Age Superman, but it was a week with so many good covers.

There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!
Congratulations to MRP!
And thanks for the one vote, From The Shadows! T^T
Congratulations to MRP for a cover which brilliantly showed us Death and Circuses. I gave this an honorable mention because the artistic snobbery of my youth is still butt hurt that it wasn't a Neal Adams cover. MRP's cover is one of the most deserving winners as the series had a circus and its participants as main characters.
The peak of the week where the captain explains his learnings to the masses this contest is about the circus. We have the old phrase "bread and circuses" that keep the masses occupied, but the Circus itself is a location of fun and mystery with amazing feats and creatures we rarely saw live (yes, I know there are issues regarding that. Let the captain go old school and ignore social justice for this theme).
And to explain why sometimes shared universes are awkward and Superdickery lives
Thanks and appreciation go to Scott Taylor and Ravin' Ray for their kind voye as well.
I’ll don the mask and wear the cape
If I am super, how can I wait?
Congratulations MRP!
Thanks for doing the count WPP!
Thank you all for your participation this week!

It's not surprising but I think the winner for number of cover appearances in this contest of the Ringmaster and his Circus of Crime. This is probably the most attention they've had in years! I can't even recall the last time they appeared anywhere. And Marvel doesn't bother to list them on their website's index of characters!
Same here!

Awesome! The last time I saw them was...
Marvel Super Hero Adventures: Spider-Man – Web Designers
I avoided using a Circus of Crime cover because I knew there would be a lot of them, but one of my side collecting projects is putting together an full set of CoC appearances. However, unless I get very lucky, many of their early appearances will remain out of my price range (although I have most of them in some reprint form).
