MRP. With a nod of the top hat to Captain Europe and Scott Taylor.
There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!

    Scott Taylor!
Honourable mention to worstblogever for the Nazi-fighting sad clown.

From the Shadows. I'm a huge Sam Keith guy, his covers don't ever come around in these contests even by me.
Nice photo too, is that your personal copy?
Beefing up the old home security, huh?

I said to myself, self, I hope someone posts a Circus of Crime cover. Several of you did, thank you--and that particular cover posted by CE happens to be one of my favorites!

Much as I'm a fan of the Golden Age covers, this week I'm going to go with the cover that, to me, was the most striking: Tami's.

Captain Europe for the Thor vs The Ringmaster cover. And it was the first cover that came to mind when I read the theme.

What a mismatch! I can't remember the story but it was probably one of those where Daddy Odin gave Thor a timeout and took away his powers.

Runners-Up: Rob Allen (getting a Norman Rockwell vibe there), Conn Seanery and Paul Bullion
