What if Spider-man stopped the Burglar
What if Spider-man never got the Symbiote
    What if Gwen Lived
What if Spider-man killed Uncle Ben's killer
Not 100% related to Spider-man, but what if Flash never died in 800 (essentially retelling the Cates Venom with Flash).

What if Spider-Man had gone too far during the Death of Jean Dewolff? Written by Peter David.

Another that revolved around Dark Reign (so while not Spider-Man specific, it is definitely Spider-Man adjacent.)

    Another Spidey-adjacent revolved around Seige.

The problem is What Ifs had sort of fallen out of style and Marvel only released a relative few over the last decade or so (and some of them had a particular theme around them as well).

Edit: An argument could also be made that some of those Secret Wars tie-ins absolutely were "What If" comics in all but name.
A new one might be what if Superior Spider-Man happened to a married Peter and MJ?

It becomes a what if of Ben or Kaine claiming Peter’s life after his death.
This one would probably have to be written by DeMatteis (or a massive DeMatteis fan) which isn't at all a bad thing.

So, what other Spider-Man What If? mini-series would you like to see? In this case, the story will likely be different enough from the originals that we can go with new version of older material, like What If Spider-Man joined the Fantastic Four? What If Aunt May had died instead of Uncle Ben? What if the clone had survived? What if Gwen Stacy survived?
    What if Harry married MJ?

That one's hard to do because it centers around two supporting characters. You'd have to do it like "What if Harry was Spider-Man" or something.

Not in the least: Think of the “Butterfly Effect.” You can go a couple of ways with Harry marrying MJ. There is no MJ stopping Peter in ASM 122, and Peter acts on his worst instinct, and kills Norman by strangulation. Or you can go no OMD ( and for that matter Kindred) happening because there was no marriage to begin with and Harry lives. The first possibility is really dark, and the second maybe less so ( although Aunt May dies).

The way you framed it made it seem like Harry x MJ would be the main focus, which is difficult to do when they are both supporting characters.

Great idea, I'd love to see how this one plays out.

This somehow leads to everyone dying.

That's how What If? comics tend to work.

It can go in a lot of different directions for Peter. What happens to his life if he doesn't have MJ? Does it change his conflict with Harry?

But they don't have to. An author can subvert expectations (in a good way for once).

I think people are using this thread to post their shipping preferences instead of actually speculating about stories.

That is what makes the concept work. It offers multiple scenarios if someone at Marvel attempted to write such a scenario. You could even do an arc based on this idea.

Spider-Man: Spider Stained Scarlet --- What if Ben Reilly had survived his injuries at the hands of Norman Osborn in Revelations, the finale of the (lamented and lamentable) Clone Saga?
The spider is always on the hunt.
