Well, they do "watch" her, using surveillance and spies. I'm speaking primarily of Rucka's first run where Kale had a whole team of people to run anti-wondy propaganda to fuel a hate campaign.

To get into more specifics, my "Godwatch" would consist of roughly 5 villains but also act as a revolving door for other villains.

    Veronica Kale - leader/organizer

Dr. Cyber - second in command/cybernetics specialist

    Giganta - hired muscle/genetic specialist

    Blue Snowman - cryogenics specialist

Dr. Poison - poison specialist/leader of a small mercenary group

With Cheetah, Gundra, and Clea working with them every now and again.

I'm not too sure she's keen on the franchise. She was offered Wonder Woman and was aghast when she learned the role they wanted to her to play was Wonder Woman's mother. She said she knew then her career had changed and Hollywood saw her as an older actress.

Hmm, well, being offered the roll of a fem-fatal is probably something she'd be more inclined to say "yes" too.

I was just working on this today as a creative task... at least bringing them back in the comic.

I think for the DCEU, you need to do something new and have them appear as an established team instead of introducing them one by one. With the right writer, you can drop an audience into their status quo and establish their relationships together via dialogue, actions with/against one another, and reactions to one another. Especially with a character like Barbara Minerva being added to their ranks - Barbara could actually be a good POV character from the inside.

Kind of like in the cartoon Challenge of the Super Friends, when Luthor introduces everyone in the Legion of Doom in the first episode. Lol.

Yeah, It'd been done other ways. Apocalypse in Marvel Comics has been the leader of several teams over the years. The first one had the team member individually try to solo the heroes one at a time. Then after they'd all failed to do that, they started working as a team.... even though they already had been assembled as one behind the scenes. The idea was that they had a to-do list with more stuff on it than fighting X-men. When they got foiled they got together and acted as a group.

But several version of his Horsemen... they might not show up all at once, but usually all in the same issue at least.
