I thought the military background was only in the JLU-verse? And since when has Vixen ever led the League?

that version of John's origin originated from the show but there retrofitted it into his comic background; prior to that he was just an architect with a social justice bend. I wanna say it was during Johns run that they first introduced his marine background into the comics then post-Flashpoint is when they fully reconciled the two, went to the military fresh out of high school then got kicked out (well, it was technically an honorable discharge) then became an architect. the Marines have kinda become shorthand for his character/personality nowadays, which I guess is a weird testament to how compelling the JL/JLU series was and still is.

Vixen took over the League in JLoA #35...just before James Robinson took over. From what I remember she was second in command of Batman's Leagur.

Any more votes? I quite like the lineup that was chosen. Adding the next two (Katana, Dr Fate) would make it a solid and very respectable lineup! I think if it were a real JL book, it’d sell pretty good

I think the lineup we got is a good one, even if some of them are legacies (ie John, Michael and Jaime) they own those roles and are incredibly popular. Mari, Kimiyo, and Jefferson own their mantles. Ryan is the only one that stands out as I think Ray is still more popular to this day

(I'd totally vote for Technocrat. Although if I was going for a POC speedster, it would be Serge, a Jamaican speedster from Wildstorm. Indeed, Wildstorm could field it's own POC team. Battalion/Jackson King, Frostbite, Flint, Grunge, Rainmaker, Serge, Swift)

Barring time travel adventures, she's future-based....and in the comics, she's Barry's granddaughter, not daughter. However, we don't even know if she exists in any continuity at the moment. She originates from the post-ZH Legion and thus far has no other counterparts in the Original, Threeboot, or Bendisboot Legions. She did leave the post-ZH Legion to stay with her cousin Bart during the "Retroboot" era, but she only made one appearance afterwards. Then the Retroboot was "erased" during Doomsday Clock, and how that affected XS is...unknown.
