Logan needs some new rogues. I’m enjoying his fight with the Vampire Nation right now, just because it’s something different for him. But I don’t see them sticking around as regular members of his rogues gallery. Solem, on the other hand, has the potential to be a less corny version of Cyber. Someone who is older, wiser, more experienced and impervious to his claws... and perhaps has this ability to reshape his limbs into edged weapons, like the T-1000 liquid metal Terminator from T2... so he has the potential to be a scary villain honestly. One who actually scares Logan.

Love this news! He was one of the best characters to come out of X Of Swords, in my opinion. He had more personality to him than most. And I think he makes a good antagonist for Wolverine. And with Sabretooth imprisoned, I think he needs one.

Besides the Wolverine face in the lower half, what other cool details did you notice?

I see what looks like two people at the edge of what looks to be a lake, that Logan’s glowing teeth seem to be sinking into; some weird looking texture in the “rocks” or broken pieces of Wolverine that seem to be levitating in the image as well as across the lettering up top (I’d guess that’s representative of the “adamantium mesh” that is infused into Solem’s skin); and the backwards “E” in the logo as others have mentioned.

Those are the cool details I noticed anyway.

Solem! The name does sound mysterious in itself. I wonder if he is connected to Weapon X due to adamantium. The character is an amalgam of Cyber and Daken but he is still visually appealing.
