Yeah, I know it seems questionable as to if/when we may get a new series in regular continuity, since Dinah's with the Justice League and Barbara is likely to work more with Cass and Steph at present, but shouldn't we have had a Birds of Prey appreciation thread around here by now?

Loved the original series !! Dixon and Simone wrote strong characters. Dinah and Barbara as best friends was strong.
After Gail left, I just don’t feel like the other writers ‘got’ the book. Even Gail’s second run was not nearly as strong as her first.

She relocates at will when it suits her. (And I don't think she originated as a Gotham City-based character.)

BC is a supporting character from Johnny Thunder who became popular enough to replace the titular hero who then jumped to the JSA them to the JLA then to the GA books and then to BOP. Originally Posted by Rac7d*
