Default What creative team do you want next on Batman?

Taking the one on the Spider-Man board applying it to Batman.

    Writer:
Paul Dini. Love him to get a run on the flagship Batman book.
Chip Zdarsky is a favourite of mine thanks to his work on Spider-Man, Daredevil and now Batman.
    Tom Taylor.
Sean Murphy but I think he'll stick to White Knight.

    Artists:
    Dustin Nguyen.
    Otto Schmidt.
    Lee Weeks.
    Sean Murphy.
    Jorge Fornes.
    Alex Maleev.

    Writers:
Peter Tomasi - he did imo a good job on B&R, Super Sons and TEC, and should get a shot at the main batman book.

    Artists:
Dexter Soy - made great job with RHatO (where I would also like to see him back) and Outsiders

I want Fabok again as the artist. He's a bit stiff, but the overall aesthetic I like him on Batman than anything else.
Writer I don't know. Tomasi and Tamaki are the closest.

Tomasi doesn't write a lot of characters, mainly focus on Batman, and his work is moody, which is a good tone for Batman. Sometimes I feel Detective is the better Batman book because they often go to epic on Batman these past 20 years.

I like what Tamaki's doing in Detective. Really focusing on Bruce's life. That's what the Batman title should be, while Detective is the more... common... or shared... title.

Dan Mora and Jorge Jimenez I like but I prefer them on something else. A younger character that first the shonen manga aesthetic better. Like one of the Robins. Nightwing, Red Hood, Tim Drake, Damian. Jimenez has an especially energized artwork that fits a younger, more action title better. Mora on Nightwing or Red Hood, Jimenez on Tim or Damian maybe.

Good shout on Peter J Tomasi. Messed up not mentioning him having liked the majority of his Batman and Robin, Superman, Super Sons and Detective Comics.

    Paul Dini and Dustin Nguyen.

It’s a proven formula, and I’d say offering them a chance to make their own “Big Time” story would be well worth it.
Like action, adventure, rogues, and outlaws? Like anti-heroes, femme fatales, mysteries and thrillers?

I wrote a book with them. Outlaw’s Shadow: A Sherwood Noir. Robin Hood’s evil counterpart, Guy of Gisbourne, is the main character. Feel free to give it a look: https://read.amazon.com/kp/embed?asi...E2PKBNJFH76GQP
