If it were up to twitter, Jon would stay only interested in boys, thus negating the whole point of him being bi, since they've got it into their heads you don't go back to women at all.

The anti -SJW/ anti woke crowd only care about the sales of book with LGBT and POC characters. They don't troll the writers of book like Flash and Ironman when they sell poorly.
    What sale spikes? Any evidence?

And you're right. That's the narrative. Like none of them have mentioned SSoKE placing #9, only what fits their ideas.

Oh great, spoiler on the cover. I don't believe we already knew Jay's codename would be Gossamer? Why omit that from solicits only to reveal it on the cover?

Isn't Gossamer that big hairy monster from Bugs Bunny cartoons?
Educational town, Rolemodel city and Moralofthestory land are the places where good comics go to die.

DC writers and editors looked up and shouted "Save us!"
And Alan Moore looked down and whispered "No."

I'm kinda surprised Snyder didn't want Superman to watch Lois and Bruce conceive their love child. All the while singing the "Na na na na na na Batman!" theme song - Robotman, 03/06/2021

They have the names Jog, Chaos Kitten, Fin, Wink, T.N.Teen & The Aerie: Im pretty sure Taylor isn't good with naming

also Gossamer? what exactly does the name has anything to do with his powers or costume. Gossamer a fine, filmy substance consisting of cobwebs spun by small spiders, seen especially in autumn it's also the name of a Looney Tunes character

Wait, it's another name for spider webs? Would make a great name for a Spider-Man ally then.

    Ah, looked it up.
    https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/gossamer
Definition of gossamer (Entry 1 of 2)
1: a film of cobwebs floating in air in calm clear weather
2: something light, delicate, or insubstantial
Insubstantial... like someone who can pass through walls. And floating in air is another element of his powers too.

Gossamer is also the name of that wacky human-powered flying machine from the 70s.

Work on stories aside, Tom Taylor shouldn't give hero/villain names. Because when I hear "Gossamer" I think of tall, red, and hairy. Not fakeJon's possibly malicious boyfriend.

I mean it's better than Drake?

It's a weak name, but frankly Jay's kind of boring as it is.

Really? Jay's codename is the one thing I DON'T have a problem with. I actually kind of like it. It's unique. It conjures images in my head of shimmering, silky, rainbow-y wisps that fit with the aesthetic they desperately want you to think Jay has but actually doesn't because he's not some aspirational hero but a conniving villain.
