It's number 9 in units sold, but number 13 in dollars sold. Why'd he rank lower in dollars?

So far Dark Crisis is affecting only Wally, Jace and Jackson ongoings. Flash has story arc, connected to Dark Crisis, Aquamen and I Am Batman will have tie-ins. The rest remains unaffected, because they don't want to sideline JL characters.

Some books were more expensive than it and generated more $$$ despite selling less units. We often get some big expensive collections that don't sell that many units but still top dollar charts due to their price tag.

That explains why the Death of Superman reprint is at number 6.

Despite moments here and there, this book just isn't for me. Aside from Nightwing, I just simply cannot stand Taylor's writing. I wish I enjoyed him more but I just do not.

Oh thats why. Yeah I just checked the first trade for Son of Kal is being sold as a more expensive hardcover edition that costs 25 dollars despite being the same length as a regular trade at 160 pages.

They are doing it with Taylor's Nightwing too, vol 1 and the Fear State trades are both 25 dollar hardcovers and even Bendis' Justice League is being sold as a 25 dollar hardcover despite having even less pages with the Prisms volume having only around 128 pages.

Moon Knight at #5 and Ms. Marvel at #17 both got a boost from their Disney+ shows I assume? And Sandman at #7 was boosted because that's about to launch a show as well?

I know it's a relatively new thing, but there's been a disturbing amount of anti-gay and, frankly, homophobic rhetoric around monkeypox at the moment. I wonder if Taylor would consider using Jon as a mouthpiece to highlight this social issue and remind readers of the potential harm it can cause the LGBTQIA+ community in an upcoming issue. Since SSOKE is doing so well I think it'd be an excellent vehicle to get the message out to a wide audience.
