I have to give OP credit for one thing, he created this thread in the Marvel Forum. A true dork would've created this thread in the DC forum.

At least OP would've been braver by doing it there .

Either way, as pointed out before, limiting yourself to just one company is silly, it's even sillier to insult the opposition, even if DC is **** right now (Just using as an example, can't say it is, haven't been checking them out), Marvel has had its times where it became really bad overall too while DC was doing fine, were DC fans silly when they mocked Marvel during those times? Yes.

As silly as most points are, the bit about DC being anti redheads made me smile at least.

Both companies are awful right now, but DC is trying very hard to destroy itself lately. I'm not going to lie, a part of me is giddy that both companies have experienced periods worse than the 1990s. Marvel's 2010 to 2020 was it's worse period. DC is in the midst of its worst decade right now Ha Ha Ha.



The problem is that...

1. Neither company has the talent to sustain the number of books they put out.

2. The editors are terrible, and are less likely to hire talent who know what they are doing.

3. Twitter is not the audience, it's just not.

Marvel does put out better books though.

with so very few exceptions they have the same writers and artists bonusing back and forth. they both have 50+ years worth of stables and both try new characters... how can there be ANY gap in quality for anything more then a short period of time?

Used to follow and comment, and while I like Wes personally quite a bit I don't see the critical thinking that the title promises. Most of the time its the typical knee jerk reactionary content you come to expect from other channels on YouTube. Not as terrible as a lot of comics youtube, but even though he's less in your face about it (I feel) that he's still part of that SJWS are ruining my stuff crowd.

Why does this feel like I'm peering at a Console Wars post. Seriously both companies do things well and both companies screw things up.

And let's not forget it's Marvel who screwed up in the publishing end of things and nearly lead to the collapse of comics with making it impossible for stores that aren't Comic shops to sell books.

Thanks Marvel for nearly killing the industry. At least DC didn't do that.
