Thanks for the well wishes all. I had a blockage in my intestines due to a hernia. I am doing better now but I still have to manage the hernia moving forward as I am not a candidate for surgical repair for it (due to past hernia surgeries). So home and doing better but facing some lifestyle and employment changes.

Sorry to hear that, I hope it stays under control! That sucks, though, not having a surgery option. I have one of those types of hernias and while its ok most of the time, there are flare ups sometimes.

I am hoping to take care of mine via surgery sometime in the summer but have not scheduled it yet because surgery scares the heck out of me. Also trying to lose some weight before that happens.

I had somewhat major surgery a few years ago and handled it remarkably well, considering I never had surgery before. Even I'm a bit shocked at how well I handled it, it should have scared the Bleep out of me. Though now I try not to think about it too deeply or I might just get a delayed anxiety attack.
