Yeah, Eddie Murphy had better works than Haunted Mansion. I recommend Beverly Hills Cop, Coming to America, Dr. Dolittle or The Nutty Professor

Hmm, I don't really know if they can pull this off or not. But hey, I like spooky campy comedy horror family pictures like Hocus Pocus, so I'll give it a shot. Heck I even kind of liked the Eddie Murphy film when I saw it. I mean, it wasn't anything special enough to warrant seeing a second time, but it was alright.

To be fair the first movie was fun too. Dumb and kinda bad, but imo definitely fun. Here's hoping this is as fun as it looks without the flaws of the last one.

That seemed to be the goal for the Jungle Cruise ride before that film bombed big time, and they had to fall back to just removing the racist elements in the ride instead.

Jungle Cruise film was actually pretty decent and good right up until the point they just started ripping off the whole supernatural pirates crap from PotC. That was the stupidest flaw and where the film went wrong imo. Just because it worked for one film franchise based on a ride doesn't mean you should do it again. Could've just stuck with the Rock doing the action hero thing with an incredible love for dumb puns and dad jokes, like that was totally working just fine imo.

Haunted Mansion, Jungle Cruise, Tomorrowland and Pirates of the Caribbean are movies based on Disneyland rides or attractions and aside from Pirates of the Caribbean, they all bombed at the box office.

I hope this Haunted Mansion remake is more entertaining.

Disney could make a new movie based on a Disneyland attraction like Big Thunder Mountain railroad, Space Mountain, Matterhorn Bobsleds or Sailing Ship Columbia
