Allow me to finish off the 1970s. I've chosen a couple of obvious ones, but I also wanted to show some great covers that are not the obvious picks for that particular year. Definitely Weisinger and Schwartz were great at giving us many hook covers that compelled a young reader to snatch the comic off the stands.

1975, the year I started buying comics regularly. This was the first issue of Superman I bought as a regular buyer with my own money.
