do Dylan McDermont is moving over to FBI: Most Wanted. His first episodes start airing in April. Guessing Wheatley isn't long for the world now. Stabler is going to go old school and kill him?

Wheatley Jr will also be on Batwoman as, um, a version of Joker. Probably time to write all the Wheatleys out at this point..

Denis Leary is coming to Law & Order: Organized Crime as another member in the NYPD. They didn't say he was a detective, so I expect him to at least be a sergeant. lol at this rate even Slootmaekers (the resident hacker) will eventually outrank Stabler.

Of course, I have no idea what Leary's character is going to be all about, but I'm almost hoping he'll be a bad guy. But even if he's not, I'm sure he'll be there to provide some friction with Elliot.

The Cosgrove cop is an ass. May of just been the first episode? but really wasn't feeling it. SVU and OC were stellar as always.

It was okay. A bit stilted at times. And I don't agree that Cosgrove is an ass. He's a hardass for sure but based off one episode only I wouldn't say he's anything less than a straight to the point kind of cop.

I see Cosgrove as a 20th century cop dealing with 21st century policing, and he doesn’t much care for it, the perfect yin to Bernard’s good cop yang. I like that dynamic.

And he made it clear that he agreed with Bernard's statement about cameras making them more accountable.

I think he's a good cop that feels all the heat brought down on police today isn't justified. He probably feels he has worked his ass off to bring in bad guys and the public is ungrateful. I didn't see him doing anything bad, he just doesn't like that he now has to be on tip toes. And while many of us can see the need for police reform,, and especially stopping their egregious behavior, It's not hard to see his point of view.

I was more irritated by the lawyer refusing to use the confession because the cops lied to the killer. That's such BS.

any updates on Bernard's career since the show went off air? Did he stay in the same division? Is he a higher rank? I'd like to see Fin Tutola guest on L&O, or vice-versa.
What's the backstory on his new partner? how long have they been together?

I also have a memory of Anthony Anderson playing another detective entirely on one episode of SVU... "Fat", or something..

The next Law & Order (or D.Wolf-iverse show) needs to be in another city; try Detroit. We've seen plenty of Chicago and New York City..

Yes, this is a normal police tactic. Why you never talk without a lawyer.

I know it is a normal tactic. And perfectly legal. Which is why the lawyer refusing to use the valid confession was ridiculous.

I'm pretty sure they said in the show that they'd been together a couple of months.
