Cassandra Nova will join Marauders

That Ernst IS Cassandra Nova, was made 100% clear by Morrison. Ernst is the mindwiped Cassandra Nova Mumudrai in the synthetic body of a Shi Ar imperial guard shapeshifter (Emma tricked Cassandra into possessing that body).
The possibility that Ernst isn't actually like any other "mutant" was left open as recently as Spiderman and the X-Men
I know Whedon had a story about the stealing of the Cassandra Nova body, but Cassandra isn't in her body, she is in a synthetic shi ar shapeshifter body.

Do you expect any Marvel writer to touch this? or will it be completely ignored?
Ernst has been completely in limbo the whole Krakoa period, even though Martha/No Girl has appeared many times. Perhaps it was deliberate.

Ernst was meant to be cass nova by morrison after they gave her a clean slate and jean/xavier taught her from the ground up in Newxmen but it seems the concept was a bit abandoned

its still possible to say ernst was cass nova, just throw in an explanation of it being a fragment of her
Especially since x-men red also tries to redeem nova, and maybe either unite the two fragments or go with a story where they're now different people and their souls have become different as well

I think the Whedon continuity mistake isn't unfixable because there are 2 Cassandra Nova bodies. The original one (the one in which Charles' mind was trapped when Jean absorbed his mind to save him), and the synthetic shi ar one Ernst has.
You just have to say that in the whedon story the original cassandra nova body gets stolen.

Why haven't we see her with No Girl in New Mutants? She tried to get a body for her before. She was also very loyal to Xorn, so now that he is back would be interesting to see what her and the other Morrison kids feel about it.

This is honestly the only plot that could somehow explain why she's joining Marauders.

It makes me sad my interest in the new Marauders book went from 80 to 10 in one reveal.
