Can you tell who The United are?

I wonder what this means for the United Planets Superwatch? I wanted to see more of them!

My impression is that the United Planets Superwatch, despite its name, is more of a universal force, rather than a galactic force. Circumstantial evidence:
- Vartox is canonically from another galaxy.
- Having all those Superman clones crammed into one galaxy would really mess with the balance of power.

- The United, thus far, appear to be drawn from Milky Way races, which makes sense, as the United Planets has typically been a galactic organization:
- Psions
- Khunds
- Tamarians
- Thanagarians
- Dominators

In fact, at least three of them are drawn from the same star system (Vega), which seems to be a little over-represented

They are from the mainstream Prime Universe but most likely will be forgotten again.

If they're all supposed to be from the Milky Way, most of these characters make the cut. The only questionable ones are Maxima (Almerac's place in the cosmos isn't established, as near as I can tell) & Fatality (she was originally from Sector 1313... so that probably pushes her out of the Milk Way).
