Nobody expressed any disapproval at my arena selections, so we'll go with them.

This is the thread for creating the arena profiles. Given that you suggested the arenas in question, if your name is listed here, please create the arena profiles in question. If you're unsure of what to do, just follow my lead, as I'll go first (it's not difficult, don't panic!).

Please note that teams should start AT LEAST one mile apart, but NO MORE than five miles apart.

WAKANDA (MCU)

The technologically advanced African nation that is home to the likes of the Black Panther, Shuri and the Dora Milaje.

- Teams will start either side of the energy shield dome (which will be activated), exactly opposite each other, in African greenery.

- The total distance between teams will be 3 miles, meaning the centre of the dome will be 1.5 miles away from each team.

- Wakanda's usual population will be present within the dome.

CASTLE BLACK (GAME OF THRONES)

The primary headquarters of the Night's Watch, located roughly halfway along the length of the Wall in cold, cold territory.

- Teams will both start on the Northern side of the wall, in the snowy wild, with the entrance to Castle Black in between them and the wall directly adjacent to them (either to their right or left, depending on which side each team starts on).

- The total distance between teams will be 2 miles, meaning Castle Black's gate will be 1 mile away from each team.

- The Night's Watch will be present at Castle Black. Wildlings will be roaming the territory to the North.

"Hush" Sunnydale

Universe: Buffyverse.

Description: Match takes place in Sunnydale, California, during the events of the episode "Hush". All voices have been
stolen. No one will be able to speak. It is 3am.

Starting positions: Downtown Sunnydale, one Mile (1.6km) apart on Market Street

On a road. Full line of sight - assuming your characters can see a mile ahead in the dark.

NPCs: The Gentlemen and their insane flunkies will be wandering the city, while the generic population is in town, but
mostly asleep in their beds.

Backyards of the Szalinski and Thompson Households

Universe: Honey I X the Y verse.

Description: Match takes place in the Backyards of the Szalinski family and the Thompson family. Everyone (and thing) has been scaled down by a factor of roughly 333 and a third. In addition to the challenges of finding and fighting the other team, even innocuous things like grass, ants, and litter become mighty obstacles to be overcome. It is the middle of the day, so there is lots of sunlight, though it is blocked by the huge blades of grass or flowers in many places.

Starting positions: One side will start in the Szalinski backyard, while the other will start in the Thompson backyard, about 16 feet away (roughly 1 mile when scaled down). There is a Fence between the two teams.

NPCs: There's a hive of red ants out there somewhere as well as Scorpions and Bees. They are just trying to do their bug-life stuff, but human sized characters will be small enough to be seen as prey by the scorpions.

The shrunk kids have already moved into the house, and so all the people NPCs are indoors.

Titan

The destroyed Planet Titan from Avengers Infinity War is a wrecked planet littered with rubble from small boulders to huge buildings. Each team starts 3 miles away from each other with no line of sight and 1.5 miles ahead of each time is the battleground from the movie.

ANTARCTIC RESEARCH BASE

Description: A small research based in Antarctica, at night, during winter months. Average Temperature: -76 degrees F. The Research base is currently going through the events of the film, so the researchers, and the thing, are present.

NPCs: The researchers will be hostile to anyone approaching in order to prevent a contamination breach, and the thing will attempt to infect people

Starting Positions: Combatants will start 1 mile away from the research base, with the base being in the middle of the camp.

MORDOR and Mount Doom

Description: Mordor is a largely desolate and rocky land with an enormous mountain known as Mount Doom at it's center. The fires of Mount Doom are exceedingly hot, hot enough to forge and then destroy the One Ring of Power

Starting Locations: Teams start one mile away from Mount Doom, with the mountain between them

NPCs: Mordor is crawling with Orcs in service to Sauron. Additionally, Frodo, Samwise, and Gollum are present, taking the One Ring to the top of Mount Doom to destroy it

HOLLOW EARTH
(MonsterVerse)


Description: The birthplace of the Titans. It's an expansive, diverse environment teeming with flourishing flora and fauna. Its highly dangerous denizens come in all shapes and sizes, from human-sized Hellhawks to monstrous serpents called Warbats. Being at the center of the Earth, Hollow Earth's gravity fields fluctuate from being awe-inspiring to life-threatening. At its heart is a power source that rivals Godzilla's own while also sporting Titan-slaying weapons forged by Kong's ancestors. Hollow Earth has now become Kong's home, with the mighty ape lording over it like a king would his kingdom.

Recently, Godzilla carved a straight path from Hong Kong to Hollow Earth.


Starting Positions: Hollow Earth is comprised of two landmasses that simultaneously look "up/down" at each other. Each team will start approximately 2-miles apart on opposite landmasses. Both teams need to be cautious of the gravity-bending space separating the two lands.

King Kong bows to no one. He is highly territorial and will attack anyone that threatens his kingdom. Kong is in possession of his Titan-slaying axe.

Description: the Capital city of Naboo, this Venetian style city is home the the Queen of Naboo who lives in a palace in the centre of the city.

Location: both teams start on opposite sides of the city 5 kilometers away from each other.

NPCs: The city is policed by its security force, and there are Gugan Warriors also in the city. Queen Amedila and her civilians are all present in the city. There is also N1 Starfighters that can be launched to defend the Queen and her city.

Universe: Dune (2000) - TV Series

Description: The area is desert, with sand hills that can cause sand to shift attracting sandworms. The is no water, plants, or animals, in the deep desert.

Starting positions: The teams will be a three miles apart.

NPCs: Sandworm attracted by movement on the sand. Large enough to eat an ornithopter. They can lift their bodies out of the ground to attack if the prey is trying to fly off.

The Battle of Hogwarts

Universe: Harry Potter

Description: The Death Eaters and Voldemort just breached Hogwarts’ magical barrier. (The shield is down) The forces of Voldemort’s army are about to attack, and the Hogwarts teachers and students are prepared to defend. Within moment everyone is fighting and trying to kill each other.

The Battle of Hogwarts– 1:50 min

Note: The oversaturation of magic energy in the atmosphere is known to disrupt mundane electronics.

Starting positions: One team appears near the entrance of the school near the teachers and students. The other team appears near Voldemort’s army. They start a mile apart.

EGO’S PLANET (MCU)

Ego is the planet formed by the powerful Celestial being of the same name. Ego has the ability to control and manipulate molecules and, over the course of many years, he created a beautiful and intricately designed planet - over which he has complete molecular control.

- Teams will start on opposite sides of the palace, which is seen at 1:20 in this video. The landscape they're on is luscious, beautiful and colourful, but it's also hilly and there are lots of tall trees (so line of sight certainly won't be possible for all but the tallest characters).

- The total distance between the teams is four miles, meaning the centre of the palace is two miles in front of them.

- Ego's humanoid self will be in the palace - and he doesn't take too kindly to visitors (especially if they directly affect his humanoid self).

New York City

Description: The largest city in America, famous for its appearance in many films, and tv shows.

Starting Locations: teams will appear on the West Side of Central Park, 4 kilometres apart. Team one will appear on the North side, team two will appear on the south.

NPCs: the entire population of New York City, including famous characters such as Jerry Seinfeld, Barney Stinson, and Big Bird. The Macy's Thanksgiving day parade is also moving through the city.
