He's not talking about his station. He's talking about the pomp and circumstance of his station. Which, you'd be pretty crazy to think that Krakoa isn't big on celebrating and grandizing everything. From Exodus story time, to Magneto's "You have new Gods now." to the massive parties with every resurrection. It's all around making people feel special.

That's the thing none of those things are a requirement to attend. It's not like ok class it's 10 o'clock time for Exodus history class. If you want you can just chill out in your own personal made home and relax, but it seems to me like he wants a thrill like Dani said.

Poor Gaby. Her home really brings home that no one's really looking after the kids very well. Or at least checking up on them to make sure they're not living in a mess. Or with Anole and friends, trying to do something dangerous because they feel like outsiders among the more perfect mutants.

Though it's now made me curious to see Gaby and Laura live together, I want to know who lives with whom.

No, Dani got her powers back during Rosenberg's run when she was purged of Warlock's techno-virus by the Dark Beast. It was quite confusing how she got her powers back, maybe Dark Beast reset her genes?

"Krakoa tries too hard to make us feel special." like bro what are you even talking about. By definition the fact that you are a mutant on a mutant island makes you not special since everyone on the island is a mutant. No one was forcing him to stay on the island or do anything he didn't want to do so what in the world is he going on about? "No one looks at me twice unless I call them over" you are far from the weirdest looking mutant on the island.

Yet the people who are running around calling you witchbreed treat you better than mutants do huh? If he had just said that he wanted to explore otherworld because he thought it was cool I'd be fine with that, but all that other stuff he was talking was pure non sense.

I do not now. Over in Way of X the kids are running around using Wanda as an i sult and creating little rituals around resurrections. This is one of the cool things of this era, they are actually exploring a society that is building itself. This guy is not interested in forming a new society. He just wants to run around meeting people and having little high fantasy adventures. I find that relatable.

It's exactly what Saturnyne told the mutants at the end of X of Swords when they left, to only come back if they were looking for risk and adventure.

I can't empathize much for his reasons for leaving Krakoa but for his reasons for exploring Otherworld.

No it can't since in the human world you have to work and pay taxes so you are forced to be a part of the world to have a good life. In Krakoa the tax is that little psychic drain that Krakoa takes from everyone for food. Other than that you can relax.
