What would you want in a Wonder Woman event?

That was the 2000s strategy and what good did it do? What she needs to is people to invest in expanding her lore and stories outside her own comics where she shows why she is such a special character. Look at all the unique and creative aspects of Wonder Woman's history and put aside greek mythology for a while (not too worried about this last thing, seems like they are already heading in this direction).

If this was the 2000's strategy, how come I did not get the same memo you did? It looks to me like she jobs alot and takes on street level action that should be beneath her power level. Great strategy!

There's The OMAC Project where she has a brutal fight with Superman (she even bursts his eardrums) ending with the famous Max Lord neck snap

Greg Rucka wrote Hiketeia, Wonder Woman vol 2 #212 (where she beats various Justice League members at the same time while blind) Wonder Woman vol 2 #214 (where she beats Reverse Flash also while blind).

JLA A League of One is all about her taking down the whole Justice League.

There are also other examples like her fight with Martian Manhunter in JLA #61 (I actually really liked this fight and how she used the lasso)

In Phil Jimenez's Wonder Woman vol 2#175 she fights a Doomsday mutated Superman.

In Gail Simone's Wonder Woman vol 3 #40-41 she fights Power Girl.

Plenty of stories showing that Diana was super strong but that her biggest quality was her martial arts. Still didn't lead others to read her stories in droves nor did it result in her world appearing in stories outside her own comic.
