Yes and no. Honestly it really all depends on execution. I didn't care for the last live action movie, but then I really loved watching the Studio Ghibli The Secret World of Arrietty. If I get anything closer to that anime in live action then that'd be cool. If I get a dumb goofy comedy then I'd be uninterested in this.

Remember reading some of the books way when I was a kid. Not really my thing, but I could see it being a playground for the set designers coming up with everyday objects being used to build a miniature world.

it could make for a pretty cool kids movie.
Arriety wasn't too bad but nothing really amazing either, i can see myself give that stuff at least a try, why not?
