I thought Rhodes was now Iron Patriot. I know they jump a few months, but two War Machine armors are present. I am thinking those are empty shells.
It would be interesting to see Rhodes & Danvers fighting together in an Avengers story.

There are several War Machines, so my guess is that these are drones operated by whoever is that woman wearing this VR-helmet.
I don't think it's James Rhodes at all.
Anyway, why are they tracking down Shang-Chi ? Why does he wears these strange glowing bracelets ? What happened to Hawkeye's left arm ? Soooo many questions, I'm really looking forward for this issue already.

It appears to me that someone hacks War Machine to help whoever is running from it, Captain Marvel and Hawkeye. Not sure if the woman in a VR helmet is the runner's helper or the person that controls WM armors and hunts him down.

Breevort did state in an interview that Axis takes place before the events of Hickmans "Time Runs Out" this can be another earth.
