    He's referring to the guy in the splash page in the preview, not the cover. And yea, dude on the cover is pretty clearly Sea King.

    I love the book so far, but my favorite parts are the Hitch-illustrated backup origins. Sort of a glimpse at what an "Ultimate Justice League" book could've looked like, lol-- Exactly what my 13 year old self would've wanted...

    Deathstorm from the n52 earth 3
    Doctor Chaos from a old Superboy issue
    The Catwoman seems new, but it really seems a lot like Pantha.
    Sea King from the N52 earth 3
    A Blue beetle analog (similar to Black Beetle, but most probably Scarlet Scarab)
    The Mera seems new too.
    The white Miss Martian is similar to the evil version seen in the second Titans of Tomorrow story.
    Scream Queen seen in the OAM "Crisis in two earths".
    The Sky Tyrant, seen not so long ago in the last Hawkman series.
    The Vulture Woman is from the Crime Society seen in the Countdown weekly.
    The guy in red (or violet) dunno, but I think it could be an evil Ralph Dibny.

    wow, oh wow...i think most all deserve better names.

    Sea King and Scarlet Scarab are okay, I guess.

    Sky Tyrant and Vulture Woman are awful.

    The beauty of the Crime Syndicate's names are that they could belong to heroes or villains: Ultra Man, Super Woman, Owl Man, Johnny Quick, Emerald Knight nee Power Ring; and Atomica (?)
