I am a Marvel fan preferably cosmic storylines, especially Thanos or Dark Phoenix related, when both the Avengers and the X-Men are involved count me in, loved the original Uncanny Avengers series.
Not a fan of any of the new characters.
(Marvel/DC fan for 44+ years)
No, no, it makes sense. Due to the retcon, Moira went to from a good and honest to God woman to a cold and deceitful mutant who pretended to be… a “good and honest to God woman”.
Wanda never cared that much to be a mutant even she liked having powers: she didn’t attach any ideology to it. This was Magneto’s thing: “We are persecuted because we are superior. Let’s be the masters instead.…” But she decided to leave that and join the Avengers.
“Strength is the lot of but a few privileged men; but austere perseverance, harsh and continuous, may be employed by the smallest of us and rarely fails of its purpose, for its silent power grows irresistibly greater with time.” Goethe
It’s a mini series Dark Seduction from 2000. It’s an interesting transition moment from the 90s which was still very much in that style and substance. It hasn’t been reprinted in trade in a long time. But, it’s as close as one would find to a pre-HoM family mini with the whole core cast.
