Default Whose is Krakoa's Top Brick?

No not this one. Brick is a common term in comic books to describe characters with super-strength and invulnerability, perhaps originating from the saying "built like a brick house". The X-Men don't typically have a lot of these compared to other franchises, for better or worse, but I'm curious on who people see as the X-Men's premier strong man or woman.

At one point, it was clearly Colossus but many mutants have joined since then (including many villains) and even old members like Rogue and Sunspot both have gotten power-ups in the recent past. So it's a bit unclear where everyone falls.

Note: While telekinetics can simulate strength, I'm not counting them in this contest. Both Monet and Captain Britain should have access to super-strength beyond their inherent TK.

Some Unofficial Marvel Guides and Handbooks stats, CL meaning strength class or grouping, though take these with a grain of salt as they are sometimes contradicted by on-panel evidence. Blobs in particular seems highly suspect

    Krakoa or Arrako Citizens
    Apocalypse CL 100+
    Orphan-Maker CL 1-25
    Sinister CL 10
    Blob CL 5
Selene CL 500 kg to 1 ton

    Traditional X-Men
    Colossus CL 100
    Rogue CL 50-100 (?)
    Sunspot CL 50-100 (?)
Captain Britain (Betsy) CL 90 (?)
    Rockslide CL 75
    Armor CL 1-25 (variable)
    Frenzy CL 50
    Monet CL 10
    Beast CL 10
    Feral CL 1
Wolverine CL 500 kg to 1 ton

As some examples, though it feels like I'm missing some obvious one's.

Mostly I just want to see where you think everyone should fit, based on preferences and how characters are utilized in the stories. I know most writers could care less about the details or 'feats' but even they keep some structure and hierarchy when writing stories and scenes.

Of course, it's Colossus. Unlike the others, he doesn't offer much else outside of that with his powers.

I like that the Force is represented by a woman… Rogue, for me.

Want to say Colossus but i feel like Rogue is a bit stronger with Wonder Man's strenght

Hopefully one day we can count Molly Hayes in that brick group

As a pure brick I'd go with Colossus or possibly Nehzno.

3 for Colossus, 2 for Rogue. Makes sense, those two has been the most prominent super-strength characters in the franchise.

Knew I forgot someone, Nezhno should get some spotlight.

Rockslide has it easily... he is made of rock. Also, of course I love Colossus and there is Rogue and Strong Guy, Gentle, Armor to consider etc.

There's always the "What You Have No Way Of Knowing..." factor.

Lots of mutants came to the island when it was founded. Is it possible that one of them can fit into the same tier as Colossus/Rogue?

Sure. That said, we have not seen them if they exist. As it stands, most likely Colossus.

    Gentle but I am biased

When I am not being biased this why I say Gentle
His tattoos are made of vibranium and are there to control his power, but every time he uses his power he gets a little stronger, and soon the vibranium will fail
In thinking about I probably focus on the strength aspect too much, The durability aspect is also a big key and Colossus is probably the best mix of those two things

True. It would be interesting if some non-combatant was secretly the most powerful but they don't want to get noticed so hide it. I'm sure there are more people like Cecelia on Krakoa (though she at least does get involved on the medical side).

Oh! I didn't know that about Gentle, that's actually really cool.

Hasn't Rogue basically never lost her Wonderman buff?

Cause I'm pretty sure she can go blow for blow with Binary Marvel without even relying on her Draining ability.

Yeah my vote goes to Rogue with Colossus of a close second her strength should be on par if not close to wonder man's strength and I'm pretty sure Wonder Man can easily body Colossus.

I guess that would depend on what exactly one believes happened in UA #22?
