Favorite Olympian God(s) in the Wonderverse?

The Gods of Mount Olympus play a prominent role in Wonder Woman's world, but I was curious as to who everyone's favorite of the gods are?



I'd say mine is Aphrodite. I've loved the goddess of love ever since I learned about Greek Mythology as a kid (I was obsessed). And Aphrodite being Diana's original patron goddess is just so perfect.

Athena was always my favorite.

Edit: Although I guess in Wonder Woman lore, I like Ares more.

Aphrodite and Athena. I've gotten more used to the idea of the rest of the goddesses becoming patrons of the Amazons, and am especially hyped to see how all that plays out in Historia, but my preference is for Aphrodite to be the lead goddess with Athena a close second.

Them favoring the Amazons is not accurate to the myths, but that's not detrimental to me.

Doing a re-read through Perez's a little while ago run gave me a fondness for Hermes. Rucka bringing him back to life in the tail-end of his first run was a nice moment.

I also liked how Rucka revamped Athena and Ares in his first run.

Hestia, who is so criminally underused that Rucka forgot about her.

Some of my favourite depictions of gods within Wonder Woman is Wilson's use of Aphrodite and (especially!) Atlantiades, and Jimenez with Gods of Gotham. I think Tynion had a great opening with his use of Hekate in Justice League Dark, but he sadly fell into some old and damaging tropes with the way the story developed.

Sure, the others all have uses too, but Eris is just so much fun.

Yeah out of all the over used greek gods, Eris and Atlantiades are the ones I would like to have more of.

Aphrodite for the Golden Age, Athena for Rucka's cold, calculating and extremely competent competitor, Hades for his menacing 19th century undertaker look and Chiang's birthday candles manchild and Hephaestus for all he's given Diana, could have went with Ares for Rucka's versions or Hermes for Perez, my others were Eris/Strife and Pan.

Ares, Aphrodite, and Athena. The triple A threats. Athena and Aphro for being Diana's head patrons and Ares for his general presence and Rucka's modern updated version.
