Just watched the Catwoman Hunted movie. What an absolute disrespect to Wonder Woman lore. Cheetah was a joke in that. A literal joke. And in fact it seems the film copied aspects of the WW84 final Cheetah fight just that they were the worst ones.

Yeah, pretty much this. Diana's lore is yet again trampled over to show off a batman character.

Yep. The only reason the movie was made was to have a big cat fight.

No respective or understanding of WW's lore.

Poison Ivy can now kill Wonder Woman not like it's a feat to kill her anymore

Of course. Character A beating character B is only impressive if you build character B properly to show how big of a threat he/she is. WW hasn't been impressive power wise for a while now. So beasting her or killing her is not that much of an achievement anymore.

I feel the need to point out that this is the demi-goddess version of Ivy.

And that explains her struggling with vines? WW the weakest of the demi goddesses? I'm sure DC would never treat her like that. Sigh

Being a demigod doesn't mean you are powerful. You can say Wonder Woman and Poison Ivy are powerful without using meaningless terms.

Perseus was a famous demigod and he didn't have any power

We can not say that about ww. Because dc has made sure to portray her as a weaklink for years now.

Wrong definition of demi-god. You're thinking Greek Mythology. I'm thinking of how it gets used in well.. comics, in terms of power tiers in heroes.

I mean, Ivy is not actually a "divine" being or child of one, she's a Human with the power of the Green.

Where does this definition of demigod come from? Where is it established?

How does the Epic of Gilgamesh define demigod?

Demi is Latin that means half. The word comes from the 16th century. So, how? I should note the way we view demigods is much different than how they were actually viewed back then.
